Some people fall into their passions, others spend their whole lives trying to find them, while a select few, like English born photographer Ben Wood are born into them. Wood started his career at the age of twenty-one, after learning from both his grandfather and great-grandfather, who ran photo studios on Baker Street in London. He took what his elders instilled in him and stretched them to the limits, striving to always capture those fleeting moments many pass over. Wood is known for taking huge risks to get the perfect shot; he once photographed from a yacht during a force six gale. The Well Appointed House is please to present Ben Wood’s photography to our collection of wall art and prints.
Ben Wood brings his mastery to this set of ten black and white photographs depicting an day of shooting on the English countryside. He is able to capture the sport in its modern form, showing its refined nature in a slightly more rugged light. Each print is a moment and each moment works together to retell a story of one wintry afternoon full of tradition, sport and fraternity. Each print is complimented by a distressed brown wedge frame. Break apart and disperse throughout a room or keep as a complete piece, which measures 82 inches x 64 inches. Click image to enlarge. Should you require a different frame, please contact The Well Appointed House, we would be happy to work with you to meet your specific needs. These are made in England and this is a special order item which cannot be returned.
