Halloween decor tends to arrive in a box and leave in one too, up for a single night and packed away the morning after. There's a version of the holiday that earns a longer stay, decorative pumpkins in rich color and pattern that hold their own on a mantel or entry table from the first cool week of October straight through to Thanksgiving.
Start with one or two patterns rather than the full range. A pumpkin collection reads best when it looks gathered, not bought all at once, so mix a Heritage Medallion with a Bird & Vine in a different color and let the two sit together the way found objects do.
