African art has a modern sensibility. It is abstract, with minimalist silhouettes, and integrates pattern with design. The design of this item is based on African Ling stools which was re-cast from a wooden original, and, which bears the marks of a real wooden stool. It is elegantly simple with a repeating piecework base that establishes an abstract visual rhythm. The table is made with lacquered polymerized plaster in white finish. It measures 30’’Dia x 18’’H.
