Forged Hori Hori Garden Tool

By Niwaki

Minus Plus

As it stands, the Hori Hori is pretty much the most useful, adaptable tool there is for weeding, planting, and general subterranean rummaging - but when the Kudo blacksmiths get their hands on one, everything’s cranked up a gear or two. The laminated, hand-forged carbon blade is fitted with an ergonomic White Oak handle. It’s sharpened down one side of the blade and around the tip for slicing through roots and soft soil - but like all weeding trowels, this is not for prising roots out of heavy, solid soil. Hand forged by Kudo, a small family business in Sanjo up in the north of Japan.
